What to expect when you visit

At Grace, we want to “clear the way” for you to come to church. We want you to be able to experience the great music, insightful messages, friendly people and enjoyable atmosphere that are a part of Grace. And we know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions. How do I get there… what should I wear… what’s available for my kids… what should I expect in church? Here is a quick overview . . .

Here at Grace, you’ll find friendly people of all ages and backgrounds! When you enter the church looking for childcare, classes or the worship service, GPC greeters will be nearby to help you get where you need to go.

You’ll find uplifting music and messages that help you deal with real life issues. What you learn on Sunday will help you know how to think about life and deal with every day realities through the week. We strive to facilitate an environment where you can “connect” with God and grow in the joy of knowing Him and living life with His forgiveness and help.

We’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. You’ll find everything from casual to dressed-up, from jeans and t-shirts to suit and tie. Just be yourself and be comfortable, and you’ll fit in just fine.

We have three Sunday worship services. The 8:15 and 11:15 services last about an hour and 20 minutes. The music and feel of the service is a blend of contemporary and traditional styles. The 10:00 service is an hour long, and the music/feel is traditional. The Pastor’s message is the same in all three services.

If you’re a parent, you’ll want to be sure your kids are in a safe and fun learning environment. In all three services, there are well-staffed nurseries, childcare or classes for infants through age 5. In the 8:15 AM service, there is also a special Children’s Worship for kids K4 through 3rd grade. And during the 10:00 service Christian education (Sunday School) classes are available for children all ages. [more info . . . ]

We know there’s plenty to think about when you’re visiting a church for the first time. It’s our hope that getting some of these questions out of the way will make it easier for you to join us for church and “get in” on all that God has for you!
